Best Time to Visit the Czech Republic
The climate is continental which means short, reasonably hot summers and cold winters. Spring is when the days are warm, especially in May. It is the time of the year when the blossoms appear in force. The fall in September and October is also a good time to find mild weather and is delightful in the latter part when the leaves change colour. Spring can be rainy but fall offers clear skies. Both times experience fewer visitors. During the winter, the country is prone to snowfalls. However, Prague can look beautiful under a blanket of snow. In the summer, hotel accommodation is at a premium.
