Hanoi

Enjoy the morning at leisure to explore Hanoi.

At noon depart the hotel with your guide and driver for lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon embark on a journey to explore the Temple of Literature, a historical and cultural complex dedicated to Confucius. Immerse yourself in the rich history and architecture of this significant site, which holds the distinction of being Vietnam’s first national university. Next, hop on a traditional rickshaw for a charming ride through the bustling streets and narrow lanes of Hanoi’s Old Town. Pause at a roadside coffee shop, where you can mingle with the locals and savor the sights of daily life unfolding around you.

Day 3

Hanoi to Halong Bay

After breakfast meet your guide in the hotel lobby and depart with your driver for a scenic 2.5-hour journey from Hanoi to Tuan Chau jetty, the embarkation point for your Halong overnight trip. Halong, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is renowned for its captivating limestone islands, caves, and picturesque landscapes.

Upon arrival at the jetty, board our boat and savor a welcome drink, and receive cruise briefing along with safety instruction. Enjoy lunch while cruising through the bay, passing its most beautiful and serene areas. Explore Surprising Cave, one of the most spectacular and largest grottoes in Halong Bay.

Following an entertaining fruit and vegetable carving show, you will enjoy a scrumptious dinner.

Day 4

Halong Bay to Hoi An

Its an early start today enjoy a continental breakfast followed by a 30-minute Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck. Explore Titov Island for a refreshing swim or ascend to the summit for a breathtaking panoramic view of Halong Bay. Return to the boat with 30 minutes to freshen up and pack; please bring your belongings from the cabins and leave heavy luggage outside for direct transfer to the pier. Enjoy brunch in the restaurant as the cruise gracefully approaches the pier. Upon arrival at Tuan Chau jetty, transfer to Hanoi Noi Bai airport for the flight to Da Nang. Meet a local guide and travel by road for a 2.5 hour trip to your hotel.

Hoi An

Depart the hotel in the morning with your guide and driver and embark on a half-day private cooking class Dive into a hands-on culinary adventure as you explore a local market for fresh ingredients. Discover the charming landscapes of Hoi An, visit the fishing village of Cam Thanh, and learn traditional fishing techniques. At the cookery studio, an expert chef will guide you in crafting delicious Vietnamese dishes. Immerse yourself in the distinctive flavors and culture of Vietnamese cuisine during this enriching culinary journey. Finally, relish your creations before returning to town.

In the afternoon enjoy a guided heritage walk of Hoi An.

Nestled along the central coast, Hoi An seamlessly blends history, culture, and natural beauty into a captivating destination. With well-preserved ancient architecture from the 15th to 19th century, lantern-lit streets, and vibrant textile workshops, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Old Town is perfect for exploring on foot. Wander through old merchant houses, temples, and lively markets. Visit the iconic 400-year-old Japanese Bridge and the bustling waterfront. Indulge in local green leaf cakes at a market. Conclude your tour at a Tea House supporting disadvantaged youth, where staff, mostly hearing impaired, provide a unique experience as you communicate your order through writing or wooden blocks for tea, coffee, or homemade cookies. Travel back to the hotel at the end of the heritage walk.

Hoi An to Da Nanh to Ho Chi Minh City

Following a leisurely breakfast, transfer by road to Dan Nang for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, you will be greeted by a local guide and transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free for leisure activities.

With flight tickets included based on Economy Class. Tonight, we depart for a unique dining in the dark experience. After dinner, travel back to the hotel.

Day 7

Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, embark on a captivating full-day journey, exploring the historic Underground City at Cu Chi, synonymous with the Vietnam War. After a 2-hour drive from Saigon, witness the testament to the resilient spirit of the Vietnamese as you delve into the intricate network of tunnels, initially constructed during the conflict with the French in the 1940s and later expanded into a subterranean city during the Vietnam War.

Return to the city for lunch at a local restaurant. Begin the city tour by visiting the former Presidential Palace, symbolizing the end of the Vietnam War. Stroll along Book Street, passing the Notre Dame Cathedral. Stop at the colonial-era Post Office, marveling at its architecture. Continue to the War Remnants Museum, focusing on the Vietnam War and other historical periods. Conclude the day with a return to the hotel or, time permitting, choose to be dropped off at Ben Thanh market for personal exploration and souvenir hunting.

Day 8

Full Day Mekong Delta Tour

Depart the hotel with your guide and driver for a 2.5-hour drive to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta. Immerse yourself in the lush countryside, tranquil river landscapes, and the warmth of the locals. Upon arrival, hop on a motor-tricycle, venturing through quiet village lanes surrounded by vegetable gardens, coconut trees, and rivers. Challenge yourself to cross the monkey bridge, a handmade bamboo walkway over canals and gullies. Continue to a 19th-century village communal house and a traditional brick kiln factory. Board Lan Thanh’s motorized boat for a river cruise, followed by a motor-tricycle ride to a local restaurant for a lunch featuring Mekong Delta specialties like elephant-ear fish and river shrimp. After lunch, a serene rowing sampan awaits, gliding through picturesque canals adorned with water coconut groves. Conclude the tour with a transfer back to Saigon.

Day 9

At Leisure Ho Chi Minh City

This dinner cruise combines beautiful views of the developing riverside city of Saigon with a floating dining experience. Around 18:30, transfer from your hotel to the pier and embark on your cruise, which is scheduled to depart at 7:00 pm. Set sail along the Saigon River, enjoying the city landmarks bathed in evening lights. With the illuminations as a backdrop, relish a set menu dinner accompanied by live band music or local entertainment activities. Disembark the boat around 21:30 and receive a guided transfer back to your hotel.
