FIRST-CLASS | SPECIALITY GROUP: It’s time to Island hop in the Greek Islands, well at least two of the most popular ones! The tour also allows time to see some of the historic wonders around Athens, including the Acropolis, which dates back to the 5th century.

This is a sample itinerary, which offers a taste of what is possible on a group vacation with Goway Groups Only. All of our group vacations are private and fully customizable for any group of 10-or-more travelers.

Did you know that 80% of Greece consists of mountains or hills, which makes it one of the most mountainous countries in Europe?

Athens, the enchanting capital of Greece, has always been the birthplace of civilization. It is the city where democracy was born and which was once the centre of the ancient World. Today, it is the political, social, cultural, financial and commercial centre of Greece.

Explore the history of Athens, who hasn’t heard of the Acropolis, the most important site in the city and one of the most recognizable monuments in the world? It is a rocky hill towering over the city and is in evidence almost everywhere you walk. It is the most significant reference point of ancient Greek culture as well as the symbol of the city. The first inhabited remains on the Acropolis date from the Neolithic period.

Travel by ferry to Mykonos, one of the Cyclades group of islands. The main town of Mykonos, also known as Chora, is very picturesque with its maze of narrow streets and harbour area. Sail to the uninhabited island of Dragonissi, only accessible by boat. It is known for its beautiful coastline and caves. Here you can go diving or just relax

There is a day to relax, and do as little or as much as you want, before travelling the next day by Ferry for Santorini, which is another of the Cyclades group of islands. With its white-washed houses and churches and blue sky. This very beautiful island was formed by a huge volcanic eruption which created a large lagoon in the middle of the island. It is consequently surrounded by steep cliffs on three sides. It still has an active volcano, the only one in the world whose crater is in the sea. The last big eruption occurred 3,600 years ago.

Santorini is also known for its wine production which comes from its many vineyards scattered around the island. The most popular is the sweet and strong Vinsanto, a dessert wine, you will explore the history of wine making on the Island that dates back more than 4,000 years
Your last day is at leisure, relax and enjoy the island, or maybe add one last highlight – the Flying Dress Photoshoot (not included). The following morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Athens ….and then home.
