Accommodation:
The PS Murray Princess offers accommodation for 120 passengers in 60 cabins and staterooms each with a private bathroom ensuite, air-conditioning, electric blankets, soaps, shampoo and towels; all rooms are serviced daily. Each Cabin is approximately 12 sq metres.
Guests have a choice between staterooms, outside cabins and inside cabins with bedding available in twin, double, or triple.
Staterooms: | Located on Randell and Cadell decks, these roomsopen onto the outside deck and include fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Four staterooms have a double and a single bed (twin/double/triple) and two have a double bed only. |
Outside Cabin: | on Randell and Cadell Decks open onto the outside deck and have picture windows (twin/double/triple). |
Inside Cabin: | on Chaffey Deck open onto an inside passageway and have portholes facing the outside (twin/double) |
Onboard Facilities:
The Murray Princess offers the facilities of a larger ship while retaining the relaxed and intimate atmosphere of a small ship, truly a perfect balance. Onboard facilities consist of: A spa, sauna and gym, sun deck, bar, two lounges, single-sitting dining saloon, speed boat, gift shop, library and video, lift, guest laundry and 24-hour tea and coffee facilities.
The Gift Shop is located on Randell Deckand contains a selection of souvenirs, toiletries and hats.
The Murray Princess also has facilities that are designed to aid those with limited mobility. With three lifts (elevators) on board, guests with limited are able to get about the ship without much hassle. The Murray Princess also has four cabins specifically designed for wheelchairs; special features in these rooms include: Wheelchair access doors and bathrooms, continuous level bathrooms, telephone contact with 24 hour emergency numbers, handrails, hand-held shower, 2 mirrors in bathroom (one at standing height, one at wheelchair height), shower chairs, and lowered beds enabling those in wheelchairs easy accessibility.
Dining:
All meals are included in the price of the trip.
Dining aboard the Murray Princess includes delicious table d’hote menus, buffet dining, as well as a special Captain’s Dinner and a special campfire barbeque. All meals will take place in one sitting so you will have a great opportunity to mingle with your new travel friends.
Complimentary coffee & tea are available 24 hours in the Paddlewheel Lounge.
Excursion Boat:
The PS Murray Princess operates a speedboat that is used for taking guests on speedboat rides and escorting guests to various excursions.
