Day 1. Broken Hill to White Cliffs. Leaving Broken Hill, travel north for 120 kilometers to a working "outback" sheep station. This family owned property is unique as it incorporates a privately imposed and now registered natural sanctuary for fauna and flora as well as an abundance of Aboriginal Rock Art.
Your guide will show you some wonderful things, including plenty of wildlife like big red kangaroos, emus, eagles and much more. After lunch continue onto the remote White Cliffs Opal Field. Overnight at the famous White Cliff. Underground White Cliffs Dougout Motel. LD
Day 2. White Cliffs to Broken Hill. Spend the morning in the outback settlement. Learn how and why the community lives underground, and visit underground opal galleries. Royal Exchange Hotel BLD
Day 3. Visit the "Hollywood of the Outback", Silverton. Films such as "A Town Like Alice", "Mad Max II " and many more have been filmed here. Back to Broken Hill for lunch and transfer to the airport or train station. BL
