Facebook Contest Rules and Regulations

The following are the rules (“Rules”) for the Goway Thailand Trip giveaway (the “Giveaway”).

1. ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for the Contest, entrants must be legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) or the US, be of the age of majority or older at the time of entry in their province or territory of residence and have a valid Facebook account. Employees of Goway and its affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies, advertising and promotional agencies and the household members of any of the above, are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

2. HOW TO ENTER

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter, entrants must answer the question on the Goway post with an appropriate answer to the giveaway question as determined by a Goway representative. The Giveaway shall run from October 26th to 30th November (the “Giveaway Period”) after which time no further entries will be considered.

Limited to one entry per person during the competition period.

3. SELECTION OF WINNER

Upon completion of the Giveaway, a Goway representative shall review the answers submitted and select a winner based on the best answer. The potential winner will be contacted by private Facebook message or email, and will have twenty-four hours to respond and provide their contact information. If a selected potential winner does not respond in the allotted time, another potential winner may be selected at Goway’s sole discretion.

4. PRIZE[S]

There is one Prize available to be won, which consists of a trip to Thailand. The package includes the following for two people:

• 3 nights Century Park Hotel – 4 star in a superior twin/double room
• 5 nights Woraburi Phuket Resort – 4 star in a superior twin/double room
• Breakfast daily
• Private half day Klongs (canals) tour
• Private half day Grand Palace and Temple tour
• Transfers in both cities
• Local airfare – BKK / HKT

Prize excludes:
• International airfare and taxes
• Meals and drinks not mentioned
• Gratuities
• Insurance
• Items of a personal nature

This prize is valued at $4000 CAD in total. The prize is not valid to residents in Quebec. 

Booking conditions

• The prize must be booked with at least 60 days advance notice
• Non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash, will not be extended under any circumstances and must be accepted as offered without substitution. 
• Blackout dates do apply and subject to availability
• Prize validity cannot be extended
• Travel must be completed by Oct 31 2020

Chinese New Year - Between 22nd to 29th January, 2020 

Christmas & New Years Eve - Between December 16th, 2019 to January 5th, 2020

Easter - Between 9th to 14th April, 2020

5. RELEASE

The Winner will be required to execute a Winner release form (“Release”) that confirms Winner’s: (i) eligibility for the Giveaway; (ii) acceptance of the Prize as offered; (iii) release of Goway, Facebook, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates and/or related companies and each of their employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, sponsors, administrators, licensees, representatives, advertising, media buying and promotional agencies (collectively, the “Releases”) from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense arising out of participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the Prize, including but not limited to costs, injuries, losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light, or from any and all claims of third parties arising therefrom; and (iv) grants to Goway of the unrestricted right, in Goway’s sole discretion, to produce, reproduce, publish, broadcast, communicate by telecommunication, exhibit, distribute, adapt and otherwise use or re-use the Winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice and biography, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, in connection with the Giveaway and the promotion and exploitation thereof. The executed Release must be returned within two (2) business days of the date indicated on the accompanying letter of notification or the verification as a Winner or the selected entrant will be disqualified and the Prize forfeited.

6. GENERAL

By participating in the Giveaway, you agree to abide by these Rules and the decisions of Goway which shall be final and binding in all respects. Entrants who have not complied with these Rules are subject to disqualification.

Notwithstanding the defined Giveaway Period, Goway reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate the Giveaway, in whole or part, and/or modify, amend or suspend the Giveaway, and/or these Rules in any way, at any time, for any reason without prior notice.

Personal information collected during the course of the Giveaway shall be used by Goway and its authorized representatives solely for the purposes of conducting the Giveaway and awarding prizes, and will not be used or disclosed for any other purpose unless required by law. Goway will use the entrant’s personal information only for identified purposes, and protect the entrant’s Personal Information in a manner that is consistent with our Privacy Policy.

By participating in the Giveaway, the Prize Winner(s) agree(s) that his/her name may be used in any and all forms of media, without any further compensation by Goway and waives all rights (including moral rights) with respect to printed, broadcast and other forms of publicity.

In the event of a dispute as to who submitted an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the Facebook account associated with the entry. “Authorized account holder” of the Facebook account is defined as the natural person who is assigned to a Facebook account by Facebook.

The Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook and any personal information provided by an entrant is being provided to Goway and not Facebook.

The Giveaway is subject to all applicable laws of the province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. The contest is not application to residents of Quebec. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable laws of US applicable therein.
