UK EUROPE

DESTINATION SPECIALIST

I've always had a love of travel, inherited from my grandmother. As I began going on adventures on my own, we each got our own “Scratch Maps” to show off our travels to each other. Hopefully one day I will have my map nearly all scratched off - just like her! This passion for exploring pushed me to study in Aberdeen, Scotland. While in Europe I met some of my best friends, travelled to so many places and ate so much food! I fell in love with countries that were not even on my travel list before visiting, like Holland and Iceland. My travels have taught me to have an open mind and to be more easygoing. Everything I have experienced in my own travels makes me want to share experiences with others. I strive to create unique and meaningful experiences for my clients, so they can see a world as beautiful as I do.

My favourite places

  • Italy

Every foodie needs to spend time really exploring Italy. Just as each city has its own dialect of Italian, they also have unique dishes and styles of cooking. You can really see how much the love of food is ingrained in Italian culture when the gas station cafeterias feel like sit-down restaurants!

  • Scotland

Everything about Scotland is beautiful. The vast history and contrasts from the city centres to the countryside are just awe-inspiring. I loved football games in a classic pub atmosphere, plus the renovated pubs for unique food experiences. And a late-night stop at the chippy never hurt anyone!

  • Croatia

Touring Croatia is like stepping back in time. The bright orange rooftops and gothic architecture bring the past back to life. The gorgeous weather and great food make it a perfect vacation spot! Hiking, yachting, kayaking, or even going to music festivals, Croatia really has it all.

  • Iceland

Iceland is a place I will be back to! I went a little late in the season to view the Northern lights, but I will be back for that! The waterfalls alone make this an incredible trip, especially for hikers. I also had some of the best ice cream of my life in Iceland, which is a win!

Did you know?

  • Scotland's national animal is a unicorn.
  • Roughly one million euros gets thrown into the Trevi Fountain each year. It is then donated to charity.
  • Iceland has "Beer Day" on March 1st to celebrate the end of a long beer ban within the country.
  • The Croatian kuna is named after a rodent. Kuna is another word for the marten, a ferret-like animal.
