KATHY DAY

UK EUROPE

DESTINATION SPECIALIST

Traveling has always been one of my biggest passions. From a very young age I've had the opportunity to travel to many places in the world with my parents. My travels have taken me to many countries in Europe, the Caribbean, North America, and the South Pacific. My summers growing up were primarily spent in Europe with my family. These are experiences I will never forget and am extremely grateful for! It doesn't seem to matter what time of year it is, there is always somewhere to travel to and always something new to experience and see. I strongly believe in the saying "One of the best ways to learn is through travel." Now as a mother, I love sharing my passion for travel with my children and family. Also, it's important to sometimes try new things and go experience new places even if it seems outside of our comfort zone. The world is waiting for you to discover it. Start your travels today!

My favourite places

  • Honolulu, Hawaii

I absolutely love Hawaii! From the lush tropical settings, the warm Hawaiian weather, and the unmatched beautiful waterfalls, Hawaii will always be one of my top destinations in the world. If you have the opportunity to travel to the different Hawaiian islands please do so. You will not regret it.

  • Budapest, Hungary

Budapest is one of those underestimated European cities that just has it all! If you are looking for some of the best food in the world, go to Hungary! The dining, the culture, the history—the list goes on about how amazing this city is! I recommend trying the thermal baths and visiting the caves in the mountains.

  • Sydney, Australia

Australia should be on everyone's travel list! If you haven't been to the land Downunder, you need to visit! It's truly a unique experience and the people there are some of the friendliest in the world. Australia has so much to offer with its beaches, dining, shopping, and tourist attractions.

  • Vienna, Austria

Vienna is another great European city. I highly recommend visiting! Its unique traditional buildings, delicious food, and history make Austria a memorable holiday destination. I recommend a river cruise while in Austria. Vienna is also famous for its wiener schnitzel, which is a must have while visiting the city.

Did you know?

  • There are 170 museums in London, including 11 national ones. With so many options there is so much to see!
  • Did you know that Norway has the longest coastline in Europe? Visit coastal Norway if you get a chance.
  • One rule that I absolutely live by when traveling: wake up early to avoid crowds in popular tourist areas!
  • More than 200 languages are spoken all over Europe. You can hear different languages almost everywhere you go.
