We’ll be updating our Travel Alerts page with the latest info from a traveler’s perspective as the situation progresses. This includes information for those who have existing bookings that may be affected by current restrictions.
Flexible Travel
While we all do our part to self-isolate and stop the spread of COVID-19, we encourage you to do some ‘armchair travelling’ and keep daydreaming about that next big trip. When it’s time to put that dream into action, we want to be as flexible as possible, offering you the best protection in case those future travel plans have to change. For the month of March 2020, we’ve amended our flexible booking policy to give you the option of complete coverage if you need to cancel or change your plans for any reason.
If you deposit a booking with us in March and need to cancel at any point up to 5 days before departure, 25% of your cancellation fee will be credited toward future travel anywhere in the same Goway region. By that, we mean you can switch your trip, if you wish, to another destination sold by the same specialist team (Goway Asia, Goway Downunder, etc). The credit may be redeemed up to a year from its date of issue. In addition, we offer affordable insurance that protects the remaining 75%, should you cancel for any reason* up to 2 days before departure. This adds up to complete coverage for trips you may wish to book for late 2020 or 2021.
*‘For any reason’ insurance is unfortunately not available to residents of New York State.
