An authentic way of life

Upon boarding Haumana, you will be welcomed with a colourful flower lei by the Polynesian crew as they sing traditional songs and play the ukulele to celebrate your arrival. They will offer a personalized service throughout your stay.

On board you’ll have plenty of free time to enjoy your stunning surroundings and the beautiful underwater life, which is home to many types of fish, sting rays and lagoon sharks (which are harmless). You can also take a kayak or a paddle board and admire the crystal clear waters. Experience Taha’a on a land excursion to a local pearl farm and a vanilla plantation to understand the origins of these famous and sough-after products. There’s plenty of time for relaxing on board or on one of the remote islets.

Activities

Living on a boat will allow you to have an easy access to our sublime underwater environment. Meet the sting rays or the lagoon sharks (harmless) or take a kayak or a paddle board and admire the cristal clear waters. The discovery of Taha’a would not be complete without a land excursion. We will show you around a pearl farm and a vanilla plantation. You will then be able to understand the origins of these famous and sought products. Finally, you will have the opportunity to enjoy desert islets for privileged relaxing moments during the day or for a festive evening by a campfire.

Animations

All the crew members are proud of their traditions and culture. They will teach you ancestral technics during the cruise et you will also be able to express your creativity with cultural animations such as leaves weaving, traditional dancing or painting on pareos…

Evenings

During evenings, dances, songs and traditional drums will take place for joyful moments. You will be gathered around the crew to share the Polynesian way of life and cheer their deep attachment to happiness and respect.

The discovery of tropical blends

The chef will create for you refined menus based on fresh and local products. A wine selection will be served to suit perfectly the different “saveurs”.

The Polynesian gastronomy is very rich and the famous “Polynesian raw fish” is one of the most famous meal. The chef will make you taste all the local specialities and may share with you his favorite recipes…

On board, fresh fruits coming from our islands will be daily served: pineapple, mango, pawpaw, the epicurians will enjoy an explosion of tropical tastes.

Meals will be served in the restaurant in a Polynesian atmosphere or on a motu. Upon request, romantic dinners will be organized on the sundeck for an intimate moment under the starry sky.

The crew

The 13 crew members are 100% Polynesian.  They will be at your entire disposal and will look after all your needs. They have been chosen for their attention to details in order you live exceptional moments onboard. The 13 Vahine and Tane will be happy to share with you their traditions and secrets.
