I was born and raised in South Africa and spent some of my youth in Zimbabwe. When I was younger I always wanted to be in an industry that involved people, animals, and exciting new things. Travel gave me the chance to share all three of these with others. Creating lifetime memories for myself and others is something I love doing. Africa has always felt like home, just packed with moments that have taken my breath away. Being a part of the Goway Africa team gives me the chance to make people's dream vacations come true. For adventure, I love taking the hike up Table Mountain in Cape Town or going white river rafting near Victoria Falls. But Africa is also just a great place to relax in exquisite surroundings. Go wine tasting in Franschhoek, or take a sunset cruise on the Zambezi river in Zambia. For me, these are the memories that have secured Africa a place in my heart.

Victoria Falls is home to one of the wonders of the world. A pristine destination, each visit creates magical moments, surrounded by a culture that is both warm and welcoming. Zimbabwe's people love to show you their home country and all it has to offer, from great food to the abundant wildlife.

Sabi Sabi Sands, Kruger National Park
Sabi Sabi Sands has always been a Safari experience I will never forget. This reserve offered me some incredible animal sightings. From waking up to a herd of elephants outside my room in the morning, drinking from the plunge pool to a leopard pulling its prey up into a tree to get away from hyenas.

Durban, South Africa
Being my hometown, Durban has a special place in my heart. There are so many hidden treasures in this city. If you are a foodie you're in the right place. Some meals I suggest are, The Oyster Box Hotel's amazing curry evening, and the local spiced pineapple or mangos along the beach promenade.

Egypt
A country so rich in history that it's almost overwhelming! Riding camels, visiting temples of great pharaohs, cruising along the Nile, and exploring the great pyramids... Egypt is one destination you have to visit during your lifetime. I will surely be going back.

- Rickshaw Tours are a fast, fun, and exciting way to explore the Durban Beachfront instead of walking around.
- When travelling to Egypt, bring small denominations such as $1 bills for shopping at the markets or tipping.
- Make sure when you are on safari in Southern Africa that you can have a hard cover suitcase or need a soft-covered bag.
- Never forget to pack sunblock and always put it on first thing in the morning, even if the African sun is not out yet.
