Prices From:
US$ 2,216

FIRST-CLASS | PRIVATE-GUIDED: Enjoy the contrasts of three different idyllic island settings on this island-hopping vacation. Split time between Bali, Lombok, and Gili Trawangan, relaxing at beachside resorts, exploring temples and villages, and enjoying the breathtaking landscape.

This 11-day Indonesian vacation takes you to the islands of Bali, Lombok, and Gili Trawangan. It features first-class accommodations and shared tours.

Fly into Denpasar on the idyllic island of Bali and connect to Novotel Bali Benoa, your 4-star home for the next five nights. Stay in one of the resort’s 187 rooms and villas, with coconut wood interiors and a charming Balinese atmosphere. Enjoy the views overlooking the pristine sands of Tanjung Benoa Beach. You’ll have four full days at leisure in Benoa to relax at the resort and explore the nearby villages and beaches. Take advantage of the great snorkelling and scuba diving spots, hit up the nearby Balinese cooking school, Bumbu Bali, to learn how to craft local dishes, or visit the ancient Chinese Buddhist temple of Caow Eng Bio.

After soaking up the sun in Benoa, you’ll fly to the island of Lombok and explore the traditional villages along the southern coast. You’ll swing by the Sasak Villages of Sengkol and Tembitan, spend some time at Kuta Beach, and learn about weaving and pottery at Sukarara and Banyumulek, respectively. Another day, delve into the history of the region by exploring the former royal court of Balinese kings at Mayura, do some shopping at the Mandalika public market, and see the holiest temple on the island at Lingsar. Closeout the day with the trip to the former royal summer palace of Narmada and Suranadi Temple, home to eels that are considered sacred by locals.

Connect north through the forest of Baun Pusuk and spot some monkeys in the woods en route to the village of Pemenang, where you’ll board an outrigger canoe for your ride to Gali Trawangan, a beautiful island known for its clear waters and coral reefs that are home to plenty of colourful tropical fish. Staying at Ombak Sunset Hotel on the western side of the island, you’ll have two full days at leisure to swim off the powdery white-sand beaches, suntan under swaying palm trees, and snorkel and scuba dive alongside friendly turtles.

At the end of your stay, you’ll connect back to Denpasar for your onward travels.
