As you’d expect from a desert destination, it’s hot year-round in Saudi Arabia, especially during the dry summer months, when the temperature can reach 122°F / 50°C in parts of the country. The winter is generally cooler, with chilly evenings, especially in the mountains and coastal regions. Spring and fall are more temperate and comfortable, averaging between 68-86°F / 20-30°C. It rarely rains in the desert regions of Saudi Arabia, although it can get humid during the summer months along the Red Sea coast, which has a Mediterranean microclimate. It also occasionally snows in the winter in the mountain regions, such as Tabuk.
