This 11-day Australian vacation takes you to Sydney, Uluru/Ayers Rock, the Great Barrier Reef, and the Daintree Rainforest. It features deluxe accommodations and a mix of private and small group tours.
Your journey begins in Australia’s largest city, Sydney, which is one of the most naturally beautiful cities on the planet. A private city walking tour will introduce you to many of the city’s most popular landmarks. Starting at Sydney Harbour, you’ll swing by landmarks including the Royal Botanical Gardens, the Art Gallery of NSW, Hyde Park, and Macquarie Street. Afterwards, join an exclusive tour of the Sydney Opera House to go behind-the-scenes of one of the world’s most iconic music venues. Learn about the building’s fascinating architectural design and construction history. The next morning, board a luxury yacht for an intimate cruise experience along Sydney Harbour. Learn about the history of Sydney and enjoy the best views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge while sipping on your morning cuppa.
Fly to Australia’s Red Centre, where you’ll spend two nights enjoying the eco-friendly and elegant environment of Longitude 131, a luxury tented camp set between the natural icons of Uluru/Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta/The Olgas. Use your leisure time to tour Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Learn about the Indigenous legends that have been associated with the sandstone monoliths for thousands of years and stand in awe of their natural power.
After exploring the Red Centre, fly to Cairns in Northern Queensland and connect to nearby Port Douglas for two nights at Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort & Spa. Enjoy luxurious accommodations on famous Four Mile Beach and the privacy of a beachfront retreat. Cruise the Low Isles of the Great Barrier Reef, the world’s largest living structure, and snorkel through protected coral gardens and swim off white-sand beaches. You can also ride in a glass bottom boat for intimate views of the undersea life. Connect onwards to the Daintree Rainforest and Silky Oaks Lodge, a magnificent property surrounded by the lush rainforest. You’ll have two full days at leisure at Silky Oaks Lodge to explore the rainforest and enjoy one of Australia’s best luxury resorts. Venture into the 180-million-year-old rainforest to spot crocodiles and kingfishers, recharge with bespoke wellness treatments at the resort spa, and enjoy your one-of-a-kind treehouse with views of the Mossman River.
At the end of your stay, connect back to Cairns for onward travels.

Sydney City Walking Tour & Sydney Opera House Exclusive Tour
Your guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel. To begin the walk we pass the world famous Sydney Opera House and through the gates leading into the Royal Botanical Gardens, the location of the first farm area in the colony founded in 1788. Look through the fence at the architectural period design of Government House. Walk under majestic mature shade trees, see wonderful coloured flowers, plus listen and watch out for many birds. View the great sights of Sydney Harbour next to the extensive sandstone sea wall. Visit the herb garden, smell the different aromas and learn about the culinary and medical uses of plants.
Stroll onto the grand Art Gallery of NSW where you will see some of the best Australian and European art work. From here meander through the open spaces of The Domain parkland, before casting your eyes upon the prominent Gothic style of St Mary's Cathedral. Walk on into Hyde Park passing by the famous Archibald Fountain before moving on to see the interesting architectural style of the Sydney Town Hall. Nearby is also the fine Gothic styled Cathedral of St Andrew, and the impressive Queen Victoria Building filled with amazing classical features, designer label shopping boutiques and eateries. Walk on past the very tall iconic Sydney Tower before strolling down Macquarie Street to discover some of Sydney's oldest important historical buildings and learn of their past and present uses.
Then, head over to the Sydney Opera House for your exclusive tour. This tour puts Jorn Utzon on centre stage and is a tribute to his creative genius. You will discover why Utzon was more than an architect: he was an architect of change. And how, against a landslide of political and public criticism, he created the youngest building ever UNESCO World Heritage listed.
Working with enriching, interactive audio-visual technology, where images are projected onto the fabric of the building. You'll visit the inside of the performance venues where guides will take you on an emotional journey, engrossing you in a story to rival any opera plot with its dramatic twists and turns.
You'll see where some 1600 performances take place to audiences of around one million each year, in every genre you can imagine, including opera, ballet, symphony and dramatic performances.
