Australia’s south east corner is a fascinating blend of history, scenery and wildlife. Explore the best of three states on this unforgettable and highly educational journey.

Melbourne is your base for a full day tour along the Great Ocean Road, with sights such as The Twelve Apostles, a spectacular formation of limestone stacks shaped by centuries of erosion from the Southern Ocean.

Take a full day at leisure to see why Melbourne is Australia’s cultural capital. Catch a ride on one of its famous trams to St Kilda Beach to visit historic Luna Park. Pay your respects at the Shrine of Remembrance, or stop by Melbourne Museum, the largest museum in the Southern Hemisphere, with eight galleries, including one just for kids.

A day trip to Sovereign Hill museum in Ballarat takes you back into the heart of Australia’s gold rush past. Enjoy panning for real gold, and explore an authentic reconstruction of Ballarat’s main street, the way it appeared before fire destroyed it in the 1860s.

The only Australian state capital never to serve as a convict settlement, picturesque Adelaide will enchant you with stunning architecture and beautiful urban parks. Or spend your free day at Glenelg Beach to see another side of The Festival City.

You’ll spend two days here enjoying fully escorted tours including an evening penguin and wildlife tour.

Historic Sydney greets visitors with its iconic Harbour Bridge, and the unforgettable Sydney Opera House. Enjoy these on a morning Coffee Cruise as you explore the shores of Sydney Harbour. Join your guide for a tour of the historic Rocks district to gain a fascinating insight into Australia’s convict past. Your afternoons are free to explore this diverse city. Consider paying a visit to famous Bondi Beach or one of the many museums.

Situated in the spectacular Blue Mountains, Featherdale Wildlife Park has hosted numerous celebrity visitors and now invites you to meet its koalas, crocodiles and other residents. You’ll even have the chance to hand feed a kangaroo. Return in the afternoon for an included visit to Sydney Aquarium, where you’ll get up close and personal with 650 different species including sharks, dugongs and platypus.
