Springdale to Grand Canyon North Rim and Page, Arizona

Today’s trip starts when your guide picks you up from your Springdale hotel for a 2.5-hour drive, travelling via Highway 89A to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, a spectacular journey through some of the Southwest's most iconic landscapes. As you venture southward, the rugged terrain gradually gives way to the expansive vistas of the Kaibab Plateau. Towering ponderosa pines line the roadside, while glimpses of the Grand Canyon's distant rim tantalize the senses. Admire the awe-inspiring vastness of the Grand Canyon, up to 18 miles wide and a mile deep and enjoy the less crowded and higher altitude North Rim for an unspoiled view of the canyon's sheer cliffs and layered formations. En route to Page, the Vermillion Cliffs captivate with their vibrant hues of red and orange, rising majestically from the desert floor. These towering sandstone formations create a stunning backdrop against the azure sky, providing many opportunities for awe-inspiring photo stops. As you approach Page, the landscape becomes dominated by the iconic Glen Canyon Dam, which creates the sprawling Lake Powell

Page, Arizona, Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon

Spend time with your guide exploring the sites and activities in Page, Arizona. Page has a unique history and wonderful experiences just a few minutes from town. Whether you decide to venture on Lake Powell or meander through an Antelope Slot Canyon, there are plenty of options to explore. Take time with your guide to visit Horseshoe Bend. Poised 1,000 feet above the bottom of the gorge, Horseshoe Bend is a dramatic meander in the Colorado River. Horseshoe Bend has become a destination in itself for many. Spectacular any time of day, the overlook is exposed and not for the faint of heart. It is a wonderful photo opportunity to capture the grandeur of the Colorado River downstream from Lake Powell.

Marvel at the stunning red and burnt orange colors framing the sapphire waters. Consider taking a 2-hour shared boat tour of Lake Powell in a 28' Cobalt boat with an experienced boat captain.

Discover the enchanting beauty of Upper Antelope Canyon, led by a native Navajo guide. The tour begins with an air-conditioned ride from the town of Page to Antelope Canyon. The half mile trail through the canyon is an out-and-back walk on flat, packed sand, with the sculpted sandstone walls creating a mesmerizing play of light and shadow.

Page, Arizona to Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah

Today’s drive takes you from Page to Bryce Canyon once your private guide has picked you up from your hotel. As you leave Page, you'll traverse through desert vistas, passing by towering mesas and sandstone formations. The road gradually ascends into the high desert plateau, where expansive views of red rock canyons and juniper forests unfold. Upon entering Bryce Canyon National Park, you'll be greeted by the park's iconic hoodoos – towering spires of red rock sculpted by erosion. The main attraction, Bryce Amphitheater, is a breathtaking vista of these otherworldly formations, stretching out in a maze of pinnacles and fins. The Navajo Loop Trail offers a chance to descend into the heart of the amphitheater, winding through a series of switchbacks surrounded by towering hoodoos. As you descend further, the landscape transforms, revealing hidden alcoves and natural arches carved into the rock. Connecting with the Navajo Loop Trail, the Queens Garden Trail leads hikers through a surreal landscape of hoodoos resembling royal figures. Along the trail, you'll encounter formations such as the Queen Victoria rock and the Queen's Castle, each with its own unique charm and character.
