Eka Hotel

Zebra Plains Mara Camp

Zebra Plains Mara Camp is a luxury tented safari camp set below the scenic Oldonyo Oloip Ridge, overlooking the open plains of the Masai Mara. The camp combines the atmosphere of a traditional safari with comfortable tented accommodation and inviting indoor and outdoor spaces. Wildlife including giraffes, zebras, impalas and other plains game may be seen around the camp, while a nearby waterhole attracts animals during the dry season.

The design of the lodge is very organic, being constructed from plenty of natural slate, stone and timber. The rooms are built in a cottage style which extends outwards on either side of the main lodge. For those warm days when guests simply wish to remain cool and relax, they are encouraged to make full use of the lodge swimming pool which has a fully stocked pool-side bar. Tarangire Sopa Lodge

The lodge is located on the eastern side of the Tarangire River opposite Tarangire Hill. The Tarangire National Park is 120 km (75 miles) from Arusha by road and is one of Tanzania's most easily accessible conservation areas. The Park is a 2, 600 km (900 sq mi) area of remarkable beauty and rewarding game drives and is on the traditional migration route of several species of wildlife. The lodge is 30 km (20 miles) from the park entrance gate, about an hour's drive through an area rich in wildlife. The alternative is a 20 minute chartered flight from Arusha followed by a 45 minute drive through plentiful wildlife to the lodge.
