BEST Customer Service
As a travel agent, I work with many vendors. Goway Travel is by far superior when it comes to customer service. Wishing her much success!!

Amazing experience in Dubai and Maldives
I truly don’t have the words to fully describe my recent trip to Dubai and the Maldives—“amazing” simply doesn’t do it justice. I have traveled many times before, but this trip will stay with me in a special way, largely because of how wonderfully it was organized by Emma Woodward at Goway Travel. From departing Toronto Pearson Airport to arriving in Dubai, continuing on to the Maldives, and returning home, everything went perfectly—we did not experience a single hiccup. I entrusted Emma with organizing our entire itinerary, including where to go, what to see in Dubai, and selecting the perfect resort in the Maldives based on our preferences. Throughout the trip, I truly felt like royalty. We were warmly welcomed at each destination, seamlessly transferred to our accommodations, and taken care of every step of the way. In Dubai, she arranged an incredible guided tour of the city, allowing us to see all the must-visit highlights, as well as an unforgettable desert experience that included amazing cultural experience including amazing local food, cultural entertainment and activities such as dune ride, sunset at the dessert, sandboarding, camel ride etc. The Maldives was a breathtaking experience in itself—from the scenic seaplane transfer to the resort to the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that provided the perfect balance after our busy days in Dubai. Thank you very much to Emma for creating such a memorable experience for us. This trip was a perfect gift from my husband for my 60th birthday and my retirement. I will cherish these memories and will gladly recommend Goway Travel to all of my friends. Warm regards, Margarita and Zoran Filinov

Exceptional Service from Goway's Alex Hale
Alex Hale delivered exceptional service from start to finish for my group trip to Ghana. She took the time to understand every aspect of the trip, thoughtfully designing an itinerary that stayed within budget while meeting all desired preferences and quality expectations. She was diligent in keeping me informed, providing timely updates and clear communication throughout the process. Whenever requests arose, she made every effort to accommodate them. Her energy, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm for her work made the entire experience well worth working with Goway travel. As a travel consultant, any future trips I would not want to work with anyone else.

wanted to extend my sincere thanks for…
wanted to extend my sincere thanks for the truly extraordinary experience you created for us on our Africa trip. From start to finish, everything felt seamless, allowing us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in each destination. Throughout the journey, we consistently felt safe, supported, and incredibly well cared for something we deeply appreciated. One of the most unforgettable highlights was our gorilla trekking experience. Spending time observing the gorilla family was nothing short of magical and deeply moving. We are also so grateful for our guide, Alexis. He added the adventure of visiting the Dian Fossey Campus. That experience added such depth and meaning to our time in Rwanda and made an already once-in-a-lifetime encounter even more special. In Kenya, our guide Alex was absolutely exceptional. His knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm truly elevated our safari experience. He went above and beyond — offering additional experiences, sharing fascinating insights, and making tremendous efforts to help us see every animal on our bucket list. His passion for wildlife and culture was contagious, and we learned so much because of him. We returned home inspired, filled with incredible memories, and with a strong desire to share our experience with family and friends. We are already encouraging others to embark on what is truly a once-in-a-lifetime journey. Thank you again for your care, expertise, and attention to every detail. The trip exceeded all expectations, and we are incredibly grateful.

Ghana is a Go! Loved everything
I am writing to let you know that my clients returned from their journey and gave glowing reports about the accommodations, tours, and staff. They particularly liked Vivian, their tour guide. Not only was she thoroughly knowledgeable and astute, she was a genuinely great human being, and between her and their excellent driver, made their first time visit one of their best trips.

The activities Taha put together as well as everyone we worked with in South Africa was top notch. I'm already planning another trip with Taha.

A Joyous Journey Through South Africa
We booked our journey from Dubai to South Africa with Alice Teramoto, a destination specialist with Goway. Alice ensured that we were booked for all of the extras we wanted and organized a fantastic trip for us to enjoy! The local company that we worked with while there (Thompsons) was highly responsive and super helpful. Alice made great suggestions and kept us well informed & organized. It was an easy process for us and everything worked out well. The group size was perfect, the accommodations were awesome and all local guides were excellent!

Best Time To Visit

Kenya is a year-round destination, but each season brings something unique. The dry season from June to October is prime time for safaris and the famous Great Migration in the Masai Mara. It’s also when wildlife gathers around watering holes, making sightings frequent and spectacular.

From December to March, expect fewer crowds and warm coastal breezes—perfect for combining safari with a beach retreat. These months are also ideal for spotting newborn animals across the national parks. The green seasons of April, May and November bring lush landscapes, rich birdlife, and quieter reserves, ideal for those looking to explore at a slower pace.

“Consistent weather and amazing wildlife viewing make July through September perfect—but Kenya shines all year long.” - Bijal Kana, Kenya Specialist

I wouldn’t recommend self-driving as Kenya’s roads can be tricky, and they drive on the left side, which can confuse visitors used to North American systems

Frequently Asked Questions

Kenya offers some of the best wildlife viewing on Earth, vibrant culture, and a wide range of travel styles, from luxury safaris to relaxed beach escapes.

At least eight to 12 days is ideal. This allows time for a proper safari circuit (like Samburu, Ol Pejeta, and Masai Mara), plus some downtime on the coast or in Nairobi. For island add-ons or deeper cultural exploration, plan for 14 or more days.

Kenya is welcoming and safe when you travel smart. Stick to guided tours or vetted drivers, dress modestly in rural areas, and avoid walking alone at night in cities. Goway provides secure, trusted ground arrangements from start to finish.

Plastic bags are banned, and drones require special permits. It’s also advised to avoid bright-coloured clothing on safari. Stick to earth tones to blend into the environment and respect the wildlife experience.

Since 2024, most foreign nationals have had to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to visit Kenya (citizens of certain African and Caribbean nations are exempt). You must apply and obtain your eTA online through the official eVisa Kenya portal at least 72 hours before your travel date

Standard travel vaccines are advised for travel to Kenya, including those for hepatitis A, typhoid, polio, and tetanus/diphtheria/pertussis. A yellow fever vaccine is required for entry if you are traveling from an area with yellow fever risk. Other recommended vaccines include hepatitis b, meningitis, and rabies, especially for longer stays or activities that increase exposure.
