I truly don’t have the words to fully describe my recent trip to Dubai and the Maldives—“amazing” simply doesn’t do it justice. I have traveled many times before, but this trip will stay with me in a special way, largely because of how wonderfully it was organized by Emma Woodward at Goway Travel.
From departing Toronto Pearson Airport to arriving in Dubai, continuing on to the Maldives, and returning home, everything went perfectly—we did not experience a single hiccup.
I entrusted Emma with organizing our entire itinerary, including where to go, what to see in Dubai, and selecting the perfect resort in the Maldives based on our preferences. Throughout the trip, I truly felt like royalty. We were warmly welcomed at each destination, seamlessly transferred to our accommodations, and taken care of every step of the way.
In Dubai, she arranged an incredible guided tour of the city, allowing us to see all the must-visit highlights, as well as an unforgettable desert experience that included amazing cultural experience including amazing local food, cultural entertainment and activities such as dune ride, sunset at the dessert, sandboarding, camel ride etc.
The Maldives was a breathtaking experience in itself—from the scenic seaplane transfer to the resort to the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that provided the perfect balance after our busy days in Dubai.
Thank you very much to Emma for creating such a memorable experience for us. This trip was a perfect gift from my husband for my 60th birthday and my retirement. I will cherish these memories and will gladly recommend Goway Travel to all of my friends.

Best Time To Visit
Kenya is a year-round destination, but each season brings something unique. The dry season from June to October is prime time for safaris and the famous Great Migration in the Masai Mara. It’s also when wildlife gathers around watering holes, making sightings frequent and spectacular.
From December to March, expect fewer crowds and warm coastal breezes—perfect for combining safari with a beach retreat. These months are also ideal for spotting newborn animals across the national parks. Why is Kenya a good place to vacation?
How many days is enough in Kenya?
At least eight to 12 days is ideal. This allows time for a proper safari circuit (like Samburu, Ol Pejeta, and Masai Mara), plus some downtime on the coast or in Nairobi. For island add-ons or deeper cultural exploration, plan for 14 or more days.
How safe is Kenya for solo female travellers?
Kenya is welcoming and safe when you travel smart. Stick to guided tours or vetted drivers, dress modestly in rural areas, and avoid walking alone at night in cities. Goway provides secure, trusted ground arrangements from start to finish.
What can I not bring to Kenya?
Plastic bags are banned, and drones require special permits. It’s also advised to avoid bright-coloured clothing on safari. Stick to earth tones to blend into the environment and respect the wildlife experience.
Do I need a visa to visit Kenya?
Since 2024, most foreign nationals have had to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to visit Kenya (citizens of certain African and Caribbean nations are exempt). You must apply and obtain your eTA online through the official eVisa Kenya portal at least 72 hours before your travel date
What vaccinations are needed for Kenya?
Standard travel vaccines are advised for travel to Kenya, including those for hepatitis A, typhoid, polio, and tetanus/diphtheria/pertussis. A yellow fever vaccine is required for entry if you are traveling from an area with yellow fever risk. Other recommended vaccines include hepatitis b, meningitis, and rabies, especially for longer stays or activities that increase exposure.
