Lemala Ngorongoro Camp is set within an acacia forest near the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, providing convenient access for crater game drives. Spacious tented accommodations are positioned throughout the forest for privacy and feature ensuite bathrooms with safari-style showers. The intimate camp also includes dining and lounge areas, with its forest setting providing a quiet base within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

The lodge has 12 tented suites, including two connected by a shared walkway for families. Each suite features a private verandah and an en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and outdoor shower. Communal facilities include a central lounge, dining area and pool deck, while spa treatments provide an additional option between safari activities. Morning and afternoon game drives are the principal activities, complemented by bush lunches, sundowners and hot-air balloon flights. The lodge is also positioned along a wildebeest migration route, with migration movements typically passing through the area during April to June and October to December.
