Overview
Take a trip to Tower Bridge on your England Vacation
Tower Bridge is a combined bascule and suspension bridge spanning the River Thames. Constructed between 1886 and 1894 to improve access to the East End of London, the bridge is a testament to British engineering and architectural excellence. Its Gothic style complements the aesthetics of the nearby Tower of London.
The bridge has two towers, each 213 ft (65 m) high. You can cross the bridge in about five minutes by taking the pedestrian walkways on each side. With a ticket, you can go inside the two towers and through the walkways linking the towers. Part of the walkways are made of glass, allowing you to see the traffic and river below. You will also have access to the historic engine rooms that lift the bridge's bascules. Tower Bridge is open on all days from 9.30 am to 6 pm.

A traditional British high tea is a must do in my option. If traditional isnt your cup of tea there are a seemingly endless amount of themed teas including but not limited to Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Bridgerton and Wizard themed.
I love the history of England. There is so much to see and experience not only in regards to history but art and architecture, natural beauty and so much more. It is a very easy country to get around and also very easy to use it as a jumping off point for visiting the rest of Europe.
Late spring to early fall for the best chance of nice weather or during Christmas. London is magical at Christmas time.
The English are actually proud of their cuisine (mostly stereotyped as bland). Afternoon Tea, A full English Breakfast, a Chippy Stand, traditional Sunday roast - all must tries!
