Not far away is Stratford-Upon-Avon, the home of William Shakespeare and to this day one of England’s prettiest towns. Avid hikers might want to head into the Shropshire Hills, or if you prefer to keep your scenic walks within reach of a cozy café, Birmingham’s canal district is happy to oblige.
