Travelling to Ireland offers a kaleidoscope of experiences. From the bustling streets of Dublin to the tranquil shores of the Cliffs of Moher, every corner of this beautiful isle is steeped in stories waiting to be discovered. There's a certain magic in the air that makes certain sites not just destinations, but must-see things in Ireland.

A Journey Through Time: Cork and Kilkenny

Start your adventure in Cork, a city that embodies the charm of southern Ireland with its colourful streets and vibrant market life. Here, you can explore the famous English Market, a bustling hub for foodies, where the aromas of artisanal cheeses and fresh seafood mingle invitingly. Journey onward to Kilkenny, where medieval heritage breathes life into cobblestone streets. Don't miss Kilkenny Castle, a majestic monument that stands as a testament to Ireland's storied past.

Nature's Masterpieces: Cliffs of Moher and Giant’s Causeway

No trip to Ireland would be complete without visiting the Cliffs of Moher, standing tall against the Atlantic. This natural wonder offers sweeping views that capture the wild beauty of the Irish coastline. For those seeking further north, the Giant’s Causeway presents a geological marvel of interlocking basalt columns, stirring the imaginations of those who explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

City Lights and Cultural Nights: Dublin and Galway

Dublin, Ireland's capital, vibrates with creativity and history. Stroll through Trinity College to see the Book of Kells, or spend an evening in Temple Bar, where traditional Irish music fills the air. In contrast, Galway, with its bohemian spirit, invites you to experience its thriving arts scene and the annual Galway International Arts Festival, which draws artists from around the world.

Savour the Flavours: Culinary Delights

Ireland's culinary scene has blossomed in recent years, offering a taste experience that extends beyond its renowned hearty stews and fresh seafood. Visit County Kerry to indulge in artisanal chocolates or sip on smooth whiskey at one of the many distilleries sprinkled across the country. The locally-sourced ingredients guarantee meals that are as fresh as the rolling hills they're grown on.

Best Travel Packages to Ireland

Whether you are seeking a serene escape to the countryside or an energetic city break, there are trips to Ireland that cater to every type of explorer. The Call of Adventure

Beyond the typical tourist trail, Ireland is a haven for adventurers. With its rugged coastlines and lush forests, the island presents countless opportunities for hiking, cycling, and even surfing. Each step offers a chance for discovery, making every journey here one rich with purpose and wonder.

With so many enriching experiences awaiting, the allure of Ireland is irresistible. Whether standing at the edge of the Cliffs of Moher, breathing in the magic of an ancient castle, or sharing stories over a Guinness by a crackling fire, this land leaves an indelible mark on those who visit. Now is the perfect time to explore and create your own Irish story, for it’s in the journey through its landscapes and tales that the true spirit of Ireland is found.

St. Patrick’s Day (March 17th) is always a great time to experience Irish culture at its most festive. And for something unique, visit during Halloween, or as we call it, Oíche Shamhna. Halloween actually originated in Ireland as a pagan festival, and many towns still celebrate with local traditions and festivals

There are plenty of castle stays in Ireland, along with many unique and memorable accommodations. You can sleep under the stars in the Finn Lough Bubble Domes in County Fermanagh, stay in a converted lighthouse, or unwind at the Ice House Hotel & Spa in Ballina, County Mayo just to name a few

Two tips for first time visitors: The weather is famously unpredictable so always pack layers and a rain jacket, no matter the season, and Ireland runs on a relaxed pace, so don’t be surprised if things are a bit slower than you're used to especially in rural areas

While researching suppliers for a clients Thailand honeymoon, I remembered being referred to GoWay by a longterm TA ….because they “get it right and get it done!” I had already started their training modules, so I put in a quote. Immediately, Taylor responded with a very thorough email and we decided to chat. I gave him my specifics and he again responded immediately and matched my client’s travel needs 100%. I found it comforting to speak with a country expert with the knowledge I needed. My clients booked their vacation and are very excited about their itinerary! Thank you Taylor for making this process seamless.Karla B

Our rep at GoWay, Kimberly, was fantastic from start to finish. She came up with the exact itinerary we wanted for Melbourne, Uluru, Cairns and Sydney, and assisted us with both international and domestic flights to help us get the best rates. Once we were on the trip, everything flowed seamlessly and every tour and transport was on time.Lisa Wildes

As a travel agent, this is not the first time I’ve chosen to work with Goway for organizing my clients’ trip, this time to Chile, and once again, the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Throughout the entire process, I could count on truly professional service from Susanna. My clients are very experienced travelers and requested a highly customized itinerary, including many unique experiences that are not typically included in standard tour programs. There were also several occasions when, on behalf of my clients, I requested changes to an already prepared itinerary. Susanna was consistently helpful, patient, understanding, and — just as importantly — incredibly kind and pleasant to work with. It was clear that she genuinely cared about creating the best possible experience for my clients. I’m also certain that much of the work she put in went well beyond standard hours and expectations. My clients returned absolutely delighted with their vacation, which is always the greatest confirmation of a job well done. Thank you, Susanna, for your dedication and exceptional support. And thank you, Goway, for another wonderful experience!Beata

We booked our 3,week tour of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia and overall it was an excellent experience. I typically book my own travel, but travelling with a group and wanting tours in each destination made GoWay a great choice. We had great hotels and good guides in each city. I will say that our standout guide was Romeo Tran in Ho Chi Minh City. We spent a few days in the city, as well as an over night boat ride on the delta, and he was fantastic. We had alot of fun with him, and would highly recommend him in particular. Neil Braun

We booked through Paula Williamson in the Toronto office, a Great Journeys New Zealand trip and it was fantastic! Although I had already scheduled a trip on The Ghan train in Australia, Paula helped me work it all as one huge 45 day trip including Bali Indonesia. My favorite was the New Zealand trip as I’d never been there before and the tour guide Toni was so spectacular and caring. I’m so pleased Goway was involved and I didn’t require any additional assistance once We'd started the first flight March 8. If we do another overseas trip, Goway will be involved.John
