While Rowan and Andy may not be licensed historians, their local knowledge of Edinburgh and inside scoops on what's fun and interesting to do in the city is second-to-none, making for the perfect day out. After discovering a range of Edinburgh's top highlights including Calton Hill and Arthurs Seat - among many others - you will then settle in for a tasty meal in a charming local pub that features fresh, locally-sourced cuisine before being returned to your hotel. The perfect half-day sightseeing experience in Edinburgh, an additional treat is that your transportation between sites is in a well-maintained and comfortable Mini Cooper.

The most popular one day tour of the Highlands, showcasing a wealth of sights, including lochs, glens, castles, distilleries and of course, the odd Highland Cow, or as the locals call them, Coos. Departing from Edinburgh in the morning, once you pass the iconic Kelpies you’ll know that your Highlands adventure has really begun. You will drive through Rob Roy Country in Callander, stop to enjoy the breathtaking Loch Lubnaig, and head up the West Highland Way towards the imposing peaks of Glen Coe. And there’ll be no shortage of photo opportunities and stunning scenery in between, with optional stops at Doune Castle for Outlander fans, or you can learn about whisky and toast with a dram at the Deanston Distillery. They cover approximately 240 miles in one day, however you will have many opportunities to take photos on route of all the stunning sights.
