Imagine vibrant festivals, stunning architecture, and delectable cuisine—all waiting to be discovered in the heart of Europe. Spain is more than a destination; it’s an experience, a tapestry woven with rich cultures and timeless beauty. Whether you're wandering the cobblestone streets of Seville or lounging on the sun-drenched beaches of Costa del Sol, Spain offers a myriad of experiences guaranteed to enchant every traveler. Here’s how you can immerse yourself in the magic of Spain, enhanced with the best vacation packages to Europe.

The Allure of Spanish Cities

Each Spanish city offers its own unique rhythm and charm. Madrid, the pulsating capital, invites you to explore world-renowned museums like the Prado and palatial parks such as the Retiro. Delve into the vibrant local nightlife where tapas abound, and music fills the air.

Heading northeast, Barcelona beckons with its iconic blend of Gothic and modernist architecture. Here, Gaudí’s masterpieces, like the breathtaking Sagrada Familia, create a stunning skyline. Indulge in the culinary delights of Catalonia with a glass of cava or a scrumptious plate of paella, making the most of top-rated Europe vacation packages.

Andalusian Magic

Andalusia exudes a distinctly Moorish charm, with cities like Seville, Cordoba, and Granada serving as living legacies of Spain's diverse past. Seville captivates with its grand Gothic cathedral and the intricate Alcázar. Stroll through the fragrant orange-tree-lined plazas, or witness a passionate flamenco performance, a quintessential part of Spain travel packages.

Meanwhile, in Cordoba, wander through the historic mosque-cathedral before exploring the city's vibrant Jewish quarter. Granada’s Alhambra palace waits to transport you to a bygone era of opulence and refined artistry. These sites weave a story of cultural fusion that is palpable in every corner of the region.

Northern Adventures and Culinary Delights

The north of Spain, less frequented but equally captivating, offers lush landscapes and culinary treasures. In the Basque Country, San Sebastián’s pristine beaches and acclaimed pintxos bars provide a feast for the senses. Venture to Bilbao to admire the striking Guggenheim Museum, which stands as a testament to modern architecture and creativity.

Further west, the Camino de Santiago provides a journey of reflection and inspiration. This pilgrimage route, attracting travellers from across the globe, offers the chance to traverse through picturesque towns, each offering slices of local life and tradition. This is the kind of experience that makes Spain travel packages stand out among Europe's finest.

The Beauty of Galicia

Galicia, with its rugged coastline and Celtic heritage, is often dubbed the “land of 1,000 rivers.” Delight in its distinct culinary scene, where seafood reigns supreme, and the local wine, Albariño, complements every meal beautifully.

Indulging in Spanish Flavours

Spain's gastronomic diversity is an invitation to indulge in flavours that speak of history and innovation. From the street-side churros dipped in thick hot chocolate to the exquisite taste of fresh seafood along the Mediterranean coasts, the culinary experiences are endless.

  • Tapas: A cornerstone of Spanish dining, these small plates invite you to enjoy a variety of flavors and textures. Whether it’s spicy patatas bravas or tender jamón ibérico, each bite is a celebration.
  • Paella: Originating from Valencia, this saffron-infused rice dish is a beloved staple that embodies the heart of Spanish cuisine. Savour it by the sea, where the freshest ingredients meet culinary artistry.
  • Wine: Spain is a country where wine is an integral part of culture, from the robust reds of Rioja to the crisp whites of Rías Baixas.

The Embodiment of Heritage - Traditional and Modern

Embrace the deep-rooted traditions and contemporary cultural expressions found in each corner of Spain. From attending lively festivals, such as the running of the bulls in Pamplona to exploring avant-garde art in Madrid's galleries, Spain marries the traditional with the new seamlessly.

The flamenco of Andalusia tells stories through dance, while the architecture speaks in the silent beauty of its facades. Each layer of history beckons you to discover and explore, making booking Spain travel packages a perfect gateway to such diverse explorations.

These experiences are more than just a holiday; they're memories waiting to be made. So, as the allure of Europe calls, let Spain's charm and diversity captivate your senses with Europe vacation packages that promise endless adventures and stories to cherish.

If you are looking for the best time to visit, I would recommend Spring and early Fall. The weather wont be too hot and you will be avoiding the peak season where not only does the temperature rise, but there are lots of crowds.

Be wary that lunch and dinner are taken very late compared to North America! And don't expect to just pop into the shops around midday - most of them shut for a siesta break!

I worked with Maria S. from Goway Travel to build a tailored trip to the Azores and mainland Portugal. Maria provided excellent, responsive and patient service, never pressured me into making decisions, offered multiple options for managing pricing, answered my many questions clearly and fully, and always met the timelines she would set to get back to me. Once I was on my trip, Maria checked in several times even though there was an operator on the ground at my destination; she even resolved a minor mix-up with one of my hotels and arranged for a special surprise on my birthday. I cannot speak highly enough of Maria's professionalism, follow-through, positivity, attention to detail and responsiveness. I highly recommend Goway and Maria for your travel plans, and will definitely use this company again for my future travels. Thank you so much for making my trip to Portugal so memorable, Maria! Extremely delighted we took this trip to Bali with Goway. Ameet was fantastic. He helped me save on my flights and also guided me on the right hotel decisions. Extremely Charming and always a pleasure to chat to. We enjoyed the Komodo islands a lot thanks to our specialist who made the recommendation. Hid guidance on the places and restaurants was spot on and we and my gf enjoyed the trip so much. We will consider using Goway and Ameet for our Honeymoon as well.Garth Cutos

We recently completed a trip to Crete, Greece - our third trip with GoWay - and I have run out of superlatives to laud their efforts. This was a self drive trip, and as has been our experience with GoWay, we were permitted to customize the standard offered itinerary to suit our personal preferences. Brooke, our agent on this trip, went the extra mile to make all the adjustments we requested, including providing for an English-speaking guide at the Phaistos archeological site. The hotels which Brooke booked on our behalf were truly excellent, and - again, per our wish - just outside of the urban chaos of Heraklion, Rethymno and Chania, but close enough to readily access the cities' benefits. Each hotel was a beachside sanctuary, and we spent several serene, idyllic days never leaving the hotel, and yet there was plenty of time for more distant and adventurous sight seeing. I cannot overstate how happy we have been with our GoWay experiences - most notably in their willingness to listen to our preferences and make those manifest in the itinerary - and this most recent trip just confirms our already positive opinion of GoWay, and we will be certain to consider them again for our next travel adventure.Frank Venuti

Venessa Lloyd at GoWay organized a trip to Africa for us- We just returned last week. It was very well organized and included everything we requested, and more. We did two safaris - one in Tanzania and one in South Africa. They were both excellent, with first class accommodations and guides. We absolutely would recommend GoWay and Vanessa to anyone. Sandra

Overall, the hotel and tours were amazing. We had issues with communicating with the driver. At times I was asked where, I was gone. The local company handled the situation and there were minor issues after. I would recommend a local English-speaking guide every day. My clients loved the trip. The area we stayed in had many restaurants and local markets nearby. I recommend the cooking class, flamenco dance show, wine tasting and taps tour, and the city tour. Jolynn Tizeno

Ani M was absolutely amazing to work with! I actually chose Goway for our group trip because of her recommendations. She was the only agent who took the time to explain that we really needed to split our travels into two separate trips if we wanted to experience everything on our wish list, and I really appreciated her honesty and guidance. Throughout the planning process, Ani was incredibly helpful and answered ALL of my questions, even when I asked the same ones more than once! She was patient, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. I enjoyed working with her and her team so much that I already have another group trip planned with her, and I expect we'll be planning another one soon! The guides during our Scotland trip were wonderful as well. Ian Short was the BEST! He was professional, knowledgeable, and made sure everything ran smoothly so we could simply enjoy the experience. He even worked in sightseeing stops we didn't know we needed to see, and those little extras made the trip even better. The entire experience was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. I'm already looking forward to our next adventure to Ireland with Goway and working with Ani and their team again!Angela Butler
