Fiji’s original jet-boat safari, Sigatoka River Safari, offers a half-day, uniquely Fijian adventure in the heart and soul of Fiji aboard custom-built safari jet boats. Passengers will travel along the Sigatoka River in jet boats to visit authentic Fijian villages and experience a day in the life of the real ‘kaiviti’ (Fijian). To bring the safari to life, a guide is assigned to each group and introduces passengers to the rich culture of the Fijian people and shares the history, customs and legends of the area.

You will cruise out to Castaway on a luxury high speed catamaran. The beauty of the resort stretches before you as you are welcomed ashore. Enjoy lazing in the sun beneath swaying palms on golden sand beaches. Snorkel straight off the beach in the crystal clear waters and over vibrant coral reefs. Other non-motorized water sports activities include Kayaks, catamarans, windsurfers and spyboards. Resort facilities include a freshwater swimming pool, three bars, resort boutique, island massage and a range of motorized water sports (additional charge) For lunch, enjoy Castaway's tropical cuisine taking in the expansive views and dining beachside at the Terrace Restaurant. For first-time visitors, I suggest splitting their stay to experience a few nights at a resort along the Coral Coast, where they could experience a visit to a local village, then end their trip at one of the islands in the Mamanucas to experience some different beaches and activities. For returning visitors, I recommend exploring a different group of islands, such as heading to one of the Northern Islands, which is a short flight from Nadi.
