Getting my suitcase ready and heading for the airport—what could be better? I was born and raised on a far-flung Russian peninsula called Kamchatka, a land of active volcanoes, huge bears, and wild nature. Having to fly to get to the Russian mainland, I got used to traveling since I was six months old. Working in the travel industry for more than 10 years has allowed me to experience and fall in love with adventure travel, camping and glamping lifestyles, and getting to know our beautiful world. Now I live just across the ocean from my homeland in beautiful British Columbia. I’m happy to introduce your clients to the diverse continent of Europe.

My husband and I created a glamping spot on the Pacific Coast. He's all about roughing it in the wild, and I prefer my wilderness with a side of room service. So, we compromised and provided the most luxurious tents you could imagine right by the rugged Pacific shore.

One of my most memorable travel experiences was when I stood at the height of 3300 meters and witnessed a volcano on the verge of erupting. Seeing real lava flowing out of it was awe-inspiring. I couldn't help but cry, deeply moved by the sheer beauty and force of nature.

When our debit card was not retrievable in an airport ATM Taryn again went out of her way to approve a small loan through transfer to our local guide's bank account, who then withdrew cash from an ATM while we simply paid Goway Travel by credit card through an online payment link.
