Not many things in life can teach you about yourself the way travel can. I have had the pleasure of travelling around Asia multiple times in my life, and I still think about my experiences on a weekly basis. My first time was right after university on a backpacking trip around Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Japan. My experience in those 2 months made me realize how much more life had to offer and forever shaped my passion for travel. I would return years later, but this time for a six-month-long adventure. I would return to all the aforementioned countries, with the addition of Nepal. There, a small group of us trekked to Everest Base Camp for one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Nothing can replace the feeling that travel provides, and I encourage everyone to go out there and see the world for themselves. Life is too short not to.

Fun Facts

I had a short but sweet stint as a child actor when I was around six years old. The highlight of my acting career was a feature in Faith Hill's music video "This Kiss." Look for the little boy coming out of a flower!

Favourite Travel Memory

There are many, but the first that comes to mind was my two-week trek up to Everest Base Camp. The entire trip felt like a dream, from our flight into the notorious Lukla airport all the way to base camp and back. I will never forget the sights, smells and sounds of this amazing adventure.
