Oahu and Maui Family Discovery

8 Days
Prices From:
US$ 2,911

MODERATE | TAILOR-MADE: Enjoy the discovery of two delightful islands with your family. Get to know lots of Honolulu by taking the flexible routes of the trolley, hopping on and off whenever you want. Appreciate a deep historical moment when visiting the key places associated with Pearl Harbour and get a brief sense of Polynesian history during a luau dinner show. Maui’s Road to Hana makes for a great family day, as does a hugely enjoyable snorkelling cruise from Lahaina.

Built with traveling families in mind, this 8-day trip showcases the best of Hawaii with activities and pacing suited for all ages.

Start your adventure in Waikiki, Honolulu, with a hop-on, hop-off trolley ticket that allows you to focus on the attractions that interest you. Then take in the moving history of Pearl Harbour and the USS Arizona Memorial, plus the equally moving story of Hawaii and its royal family. Visit the Iolani Palace, and see how the traditional history and culture of these islands continue to shape their present identity. You’ll have plenty of downtime to relax by the pool or on the beach as well before your luau experience awaits! All the family will love the lively traditional entertainment and mouth-watering treats served at Sea Life Park while enjoying another chance to learn what makes Hawaii such a unique place.

Fly on to Maui and relax for the day before hitting the Hana Highway. With over 620 curves and 50 one-lane bridges, having someone else do the driving is the best way to take it all in, letting you focus on the sights. Your tour is narrated between stops at gorgeous volcanic beaches, state parks, and sweeping views. On your last full day in Maui, take an afternoon charter to Lahaina Turtle Town for an unforgettable snorkeling experience alongside the island’s sea life including abundant reef fish, and of course, Hawaiian turtles. December marks the start of whale watching season if want to plan for it.

Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.

Day 7

Afternoon Turtle Town Snorkel Cruise

Take in the beautiful scenery on an afternoon charter that takes you to Lahaina Turtle Town. Considered one of the best snorkel spots in Maui for its artificial reef, made from the remains of the Mala Wharf. Snorkel in the stunningly clear waters and catch sight of the vibrant sea life.

What makes this spot special is the artificial reef and its recreation among the destroyed Mala Wharf by a 30-foot surf during hurricane Iniki in 1992.

Now it is a healthy reef and home to a vast array of sea life including Green Sea Turtles, Nenue (lowfin chubs), Goatfish, Octopus, Black Durgeon, Frogfish, and Parrotfish.

Enjoy snorkeling in the translucent waters of Maui, is sure to leave you in awe with abundant sea life and unreal clear visibility.

Afternoon snorkels on Maui are a treat! There are very few afternoon snorkel charters, which allows us to bring you to an exclusive area that will have little to no other tourism in the area - giving a unique experience you're sure to love.

Lahaina Turtle Town is a unique and highly desired snorkel location featuring turtle cleaning stations and an abundance of reef fish. This afternoon trip brings the possibility of experiencing an awesome boat snorkel charter without having to wake up at the break of dawn to get to the morning trips! Sleep in, enjoy the morning, and come for an awesome snorkel charter in the afternoon.

Whale watch season officially starts December 1, so along with an awesome afternoon snorkel tour, you will have the opportunity to go Whale watching too. Humpback whales visit the Hawaiian Islands seasonally, so this is a combination of snorkeling at a beautiful reef as well as whale watching on the same tour.

All snorkel spots are determined daily weather permitting. Please understand and respect the captain's decisions on the safest snorkel locations for the day.

Wherever your captain takes you, the crew will provide you with snorkeling tips and gear. The catamaran has 2 restrooms and freshwater showers available for passengers.
