We were impressed with the quality of every aspect of our recent trip coordinated and conducted by Goway Travel. Since we were adding a complex multi-location tour that began before, and continued after an Antarctic cruise, a simple 'out of the catalog' tour needed to be modified. Goway coordinated every aspect so the experience was seamless and spot on. In addition, the local guides coordinated by Goway were hands down the best local guides we have experienced in more than 30 years of international travel. Between Goway and our travel agent, we were kept well informed in advance of the vacation and were comfortable with the level of hands-on support we would receive and the latitude to leverage 'on our own' time to maximize our vacation. The local guides went out of their way to accommodate desired adjustments we 'discovered' while on our vacation (for example.."Hey, as long as we are in Argentina, maybe we should catch a Tango show...") With this experience, Goway has become our first choice in local travel coordination.

Dear GOWAY Travel!
It is my pleasure to record another successful and outstanding trip with GOWAY. My travels were to Argentina and an Antarctica 21 sailing expedition. Similar to many travelers, this itinerary had to be delayed due to COVID issues in 2020-21. Throughout the entire planning and follow-up process, my agent—Michael Rigillo was committed to making sure every aspect of travel was arranged. Even with the delays, Michael remained in constant communication with both the cruise company and myself….realizing this process spanned more than a year. Now, that’s amazing! As the trip approached, GOWAY sent reminder checklists, encouraging emails and information to make the trip successful….and it finally Happened!!
From the moment we landed in Buenos Aires, the transfer personnel were there to greet our arrival and drive us to the hotel. All of the individuals were prompt, courteous and welcoming. I have found this to be a hallmark of GOWAY….working with reputable companies abroad to further enhance the travel experience. M. Rigillo has particular expertise with South America and it is clearly evident in his selection of hotel locations and recommendations for city tours and other highlights in the area.
The Antarctica 21 sailing/cruise/fly expedition was INCREDIBLE! While we sailed through the ‘Drake (Shake) Passage’ and into arctic waters….the ship and crew were wonderful. I was surprised by the dining services and food options….quite extensive. The passion of the naturalists on board was clearly evident. The daily lectures celebrated the exciting experiences we were about to enjoy and we did. Weather is always an issue in Antarctica, but I was confident the crew they would provide us with the best options….we were not disappointed. I could go on and on, suffice to say the memories of our visit to the 7th Continent were realized and personally will forever be a highlight of my adventures abroad.
The itinerary also included a stopover in Santiago. Although we did not request specific activities or tours for the ‘free day’, we were located in an area that felt safe to explore, shop and dine. And, we did. Tickets with LATAM airlines were efficient and our luggage followed us throughout South America, returning safely to USA! Again, I applaud Michael’s attention to detail throughout the itinerary. He informed us of luggage limits, additional taxes/person at the hotels, selected hotels with breakfast and arranged all transfers. Quite honestly, reflecting on the almost two weeks of travel, the logistics are mind-boggling. Graciously, Michael R. and GOWAY made it all happen. I continue to recommend your company again and again and again!!!!
