Famed as the setting of the classic 1942 film of the same name, Casablanca is Morocco’s largest city. Located in western Morocco on the Atlantic Ocean, Casablanca is the country’s main port as well as the economic and business centre to be experienced on Morocco vacations.
What started as a small Berber fishing village, Casablanca became a strategic port for the likes of the Phoenicians and the Romans. The Portuguese destroyed and then rebuilt the city, inhabiting it until an earthquake devastated the area in 1755. During the era of French colonialism at the beginning of the 20th century, Casablanca witnessed rapid expansion and developed into one of Africa’s largest cities.
Casablanca is known for its unique architecture, a byproduct of being a French protectorate. Mauresque is a blend of traditional Moroccan designs with European styles of the early 20th century. A modern architectural attraction in Casablanca is the Hassan II Mosque designed by French architect Michel Pinseau. With room for 25,000 people inside and a further 80,000 in the courtyard, the mosque is one of the largest in the world. Built by over 6,000 Moroccan craftsmen and artisans using local materials, the mosque was completed in 1993.

The country has a diverse cuisine that not only combines spices to build dishes, but is designed to complement local heritage and traditions. Make sure you try harira soup and a fragrant gladd of mint tea!
A riad is a traditional Moroccan houses or palaces with an interior courtyard/garden. They are very authentic and I recommend staying in one for a unique experience.<br>
I recommend experiencing a hammam, riding through the dunes on a camel, and spending the night in the desert. Along with other activities like souk shopping and cooking classes.

Our experience in Peru was very positive. Denise WatkinsI booked this trip to Adelaide with Goway, after using them before when we explored the 'big' sites of Australia. This time, we went to Adelaide to go to three of the top wine growing areas for wine tastings. We were a small group of 4 people. It was made better as the vendor used Small Batch Wine Tours for all of our excursions. They were fantastic making us the only travelers on these tours. Matthew, the owner, even adjusted our wineries on the last day to go to different place. This place totally marked off everything we were looking for in wine. Ended up buying a couple of bottles.
