Overview
Take a trip to Stanley on your Falkland Islands Vacation
The Falkland Islands, also known simply as the Falklands are an archipelago located in the South Atlantic Ocean, east of Patagonia on the continent of South America, approximately 500 kilometres/310 miles away. There are two main islands to visit on a Falkland Islands vacation, East Falkland and West Falkland, separated by a small strait called the Falkland Sound. There are also over 700 small islands that make up the total country. The coastline is heavily indented with sounds, fjords and many natural harbours.
The Falklands have been a British Overseas Territory since 1833 and the language spoken is English. The two local newspapers are whimsically called the Penguin News and the Teaberry Express. The capital, Stanley, boasts the world’s most southerly cathedral. Interestingly enough, outside of Stanley, there are no roads, only tracks. The total population in the country is less than 3000.
The attraction of the Falklands lies in its scenic beauty and the flora and fauna. The world’s largest breeding site for elephant seals is here and it is not uncommon to see penguins and albatrosses as well as many other species of birds on Falkland Islands tours.
Pursuits which can be undertaken in the Falklands are bird watching, fishing, hiking and horseback riding.

I love and am always fascinated by Turkmenistan's unique cultural heritage.
You should definitely attend Turkmenistan's annual Melon Day Festival. It's an annual celebration held every year on the second Sunday of August, featuring a large display of the Turkmenistan melon, praised for its massive size, aroma, and delicious taste.
Most travellers probably don't know that Macau was the casino capital in Asia before Singapore's casinos were built and began operating.
I really love the architecture in Macau. The city's vibe is slightly more laid-back than Hong Kong's, but the casinos make you feel like you are in Vegas. Then pair this with the stunning 17th-century Ruins of St Paul and the intricate Portuguese pavement.
