Dedicated to Inari, the deity of prosperity and business success, this shrine serves as the principal Inari shrine in Japan. The mesmerizing sight of countless orange torii gates stretching toward Mt. Inari offers a captivating experience and is an iconic symbol of Japan.
It is perfect for a day hike, typically taking two to three hours to explore the mountain. Along the way, you'll find a convenient stop with a souvenir shop and tea stall offering refreshments like snacks and ice cream.
