Take a trip to Boracay on your Philippines Vacation
Boracay is a tropical island in the Philippines, situated 2 km off the northwest tip of Panay Island in the Visayas archipelago. Stretching 7 kilometres (4 miles) in length, the island features white sandy beaches, hilly terrain, and crystal clear waters, and is small enough to navigate by bicycle or motorbike on a Philippines vacation.
Once home to the Ati tribe, Boracay started development in 1900, when a Panay Island couple started buying substantial properties on the island, planting fruit trees, coconuts, and greenery. As the development of Boracay continued, tourism was introduced in the 1970s. Known as a budget tourist hotspot for backpackers in the 1980s, Boracay soon became an acclaimed destination, offering gorgeous beaches, numerous beach resorts, an 18-hole golf course, restaurants, and nightlife on Philippines vacation packages.
White Beach is the most popular tourist beach, as it spans a substantial length of Boracay’s west coast. Lined with various resorts, White Beach’s central section is the commercial hub of Boracay, featuring various shops, pubs, and restaurants.
On Boracay’s east coast, Bulabog Beach is ideal for windsurfing and kiteboarding. It plays host to the annual Boracay International Funboard Cup, bringing competitors from all over the world.
For adventure seekers of another kind, Boracay features the Bat Cave. Located on the northwest end of the island, the cave houses many small insectivorous bats, while fruit bats reside on the hillside above Punta Bunga Beach.
An hour’s flight away from Manila to the north and Cebu to the south, Boracay’s renowned beaches have earned awards from numerous travel publications. Whether relaxing on the beach, partaking in various water sports such as snorkeling or scuba diving, or enjoying an avid nightlife on a Philippines vacation, Boracay is truly an island paradise!

There were so many highlights on our trip from the animal sightings, to the balloon flight and champagne breakfast, to all the incredible scenery.
Our accommodations were stunning! The level of service was remarkable and the locations were beyond our expectations. To think we would be having dinner and seeing the zebras and the elephants in the distance was amazing!
Our tour guide/driver was very knowledgeable, friendly, passionate and had a keen eye for spotting animals in the distance. He made sure that we saw all the animals that we had hoped to see. it was truly a pleasure to spend the week with him.

She had me going into the jungle one day, so I requested to swap that nonsense for a fishing charter, and before I knew it, my trip was ready.

Our only criticism is that they do not break down the various costs of a trip which makes tipping very awkward. It can also create a sense of " mistrust" when all the costs are not transparent. Taking the trains thru the county was easy by the many hours Louie and Bo worked on this. Also our helicopter ride in Zermatt on my birthday was just unbelievable.
