Whichever season you choose, Bolivia's diverse landscapes and rich culture will captivate you year-round.
The eastern lowlands, including Santa Cruz and the Amazon, enjoy warm temperatures year-round. However, it's busier in July and August, thanks to the dry and sunny weather. If you're interested in exploring the Amazon rainforest or participating in outdoor adventures, the onset of the dry season in April-May and its conclusion in October present favourable periods for travel. There are fewer crowds during these periods as well. During these months, you can relish the lush greenery that lingers from the preceding rainy season in April, while October heralds the arrival of spring, with temperatures beginning to rise.
If you're planning a Bolivia Tours visit to the highlands and salt flats, the dry season is also recommended, as it allows for better access to these areas. However, if you want to experience traditional festivals and vibrant cultural events, consider visiting during the rainy season, November to April.

Everything went so smoothly from our transfers, to our accommodations, to all of our tours! The people we came into contact with were exemplary!
There were so many highlights on our trip from the animal sightings, to the balloon flight and champagne breakfast, to all the incredible scenery.
Our accommodations were stunning! The level of service was remarkable and the locations were beyond our expectations. To think we would be having dinner and seeing the zebras and the elephants in the distance was amazing!
Our tour guide/driver was very knowledgeable, friendly, passionate and had a keen eye for spotting animals in the distance. He made sure that we saw all the animals that we had hoped to see. it was truly a pleasure to spend the week with him.
