ANTHONY SABA

AUSTRALIA & SOUTH PACIFIC

VICE PRESIDENT, SOUTH PACIFIC

Being the typical Australian, I quit my job (twice!) to go and travel the world. First, I headed to Europe and North America, but soon after that I had caught the bug and there was no stopping me. Many years later, I am still going. I am always looking for new destinations, but sometimes I want to enjoy old favourites that I can't wait to visit again, and experience differently. Honestly, there are almost too many favourites to chose from, and so many places offer different experiences that can't be compared.

My favourite places

  • Bali, Indonesia

    Asia

Bali is an amazing combination of culture, shopping, nightlife, and relaxation. Get away from the main resort areas and explore the island.

  • South Africa

    Africa & Middle East

Animals as far as the eye can see, so unique, up close and personal. But it is not all about the animals, South Africa gives you the chance to experience wonderful, food, wine, and culture.

  • Amalfi Coast

    UK Europe

Fantastic food, culture and history, and picture perfect coastlines. Go back in time to Italy, yet experience so much that is new and vibrant.

  • Sydney

    Australia & South Pacific

Sydney, a city that is as cosmopolitan as it is laid back. Enjoy the beaches. Too many visitors miss them.

Did you know?

  • The best time to travel to Australia and New Zealand is October to early December because it is well into spring and the weather is perfect. It is also daylight-savings time so the days are long for sightseeing and touring.
  • Long haul flights are different. Someone who has never travelled a long distance is often worried about the lack of leg room and the comfort. Long haul flights, such as those to Australia are configured differently to give a bit more comfort.
  • People in North America are often worried about the distance to travel to Australia and New Zealand. In fact, from the west coast, the flight to Australia is probably only an hour longer than a flight from the west coast to Europe.
