European Stopover & City Map

This 5-day luxury stay combines some true British icons with London’s most memorable day trips, all while staying at the luxurious Corinthia.

Set right in the heart of London, the 5-Star Corinthia overlooks the River Thames, and offers all the luxuries of the 21st century within the splendour of its Victorian shell. If you arrive early, you’re a mere stone’s throw from Trafalgar Square, the Houses of Parliament, Soho and the West End, Westminster Abbey, and much more, so feel free to get out and explore one of the world’s great cities.

Your London day tour is packed with true British icons. Visit the home of William Shakespeare on a guided tour though the streets that inspired him. Then, the game’s afoot at 221b Baker Street, from which you’ll follow the clues and discover London through the eyes of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Unearth the secrets of another British literary genius at the home of Ian Fleming, then visit several sites featured in the James Bond films, along with the not-so-classified real world locations of MI5 and MI6. Then swing by the 60’s on the trail of the Beatles. See Abbey Road, Paul’s London office, John and Yoko’s flat, and more. End the day aboard a more recent icon, the London Eye, with a Champagne Experience overlooking the city sights.

Embark on a private tour to Windsor Castle, home to the Royal Family for 900 years and still an Official Residence. Explore the castle grounds, St George’s Chapel, and the last resting places of famous monarchs including Henry VIII. The day continues at Oxford University, where you can walk in the footsteps of J R R Tolkien, Lewis Carroll, and C S Lewis, as well as former US President Bill Clinton.

Your final day takes you on that cheekiest and most magnificent of ‘London’ day trips, Paris! The Eurostar speeds you to the City of Lights in just over two hours. The day is then yours to explore as you wish. Visit the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, shop along the Champs-Elysees, or just roam the beautiful streets, discovering a new favourite patisserie (or five) along the way. Return to London for one last night before your departure.

The London Eye - Fast Track Entry

At 135 meters (approximately 443 feet), the London Eye is the world's largest cantilevered observation wheel. It was conceived and designed by Marks Barfield Architects and was launched in 2000, and has since won over 85 awards for national and international tourism, outstanding architectural quality and engineering achievement. The observation wheel turns slow enough for people to embark while it is moving, and a complete turn takes about thirty minutes. Thanks to the construction of the glass capsules on the outer side of the rim, you will have a great 360-degree view of London. Many famous landmarks are clearly visible, including Buckingham Palace, St. Paul's Cathedral and the Houses of Parliament. On a clear day, you can see as far as 40 kilometers (approximately 25 miles). Make sure to reserve a specific time in advance as all entries now require a fixed-time reservation. A helpful hint? It's less crowded at night and the views on a clear night are even more spectacular.
